“Stay alert or remain vigilant against the devil’s wiles and defend the true faith against his instruments.” Such, Church Of Christ members must do especially now that the Judgment Day is near, Brother Eraño S. Codera from the Iglesia Ni Cristo Central Office reminded the brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Washington State during a special worship service he officiated at on May 25, 2024.

The house of worship of the Local Congregation of Seattle served as the host site. From there the holy gathering was livestreamed to the places of worship of the Local Congregations of Bellingham and Port Orchard, as well as that of the Port Angeles Group Worship Service (GWS).

Andrea Papa, a choir member and Buklod officer in the Seattle Congregation, expressed, “We see the conflicts and turmoil in various parts of the world, even here in the US. So the message during the worship service was what we needed to hear.” She further stated, “The fact that Brother Eduardo Manalo sent one of his primary helpers to visit us shows his care for the brethren and that he is always concerned about our faith.”

“In the face of the moral decadence of this world, Church members must continue to hold on to the teachings of God taught by the Church Administration, and exude spiritual fervor in all activities of the Church. Doing so would give us victory over our enemy,” said Brother Ramil Regino II, district supervising minister. — With reports from Felimaur Flauta of INC News Section
