Busy as they are, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Makati in the Philippines never forget to participate in the works of salvation, especially the propagation of God’s words.

Such zeal the brethren recently proved by bringing guests that reached thousands to the evangelical mission officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Coordinator, at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City, Philippines, on February 20, 2024.

They “conducted devotional prayers to seek the Lord God’s help.” Then, “we also handed out copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine as a way of inviting our friends and loved ones who are not yet members of the Church,” relayed Maritess Ragos, choir member in the Local Congregation of Pasay.

On the actual day of the evangelical mission, the brethren accompanied their guests to the venue. “The answers to the questions raised during the study of God’s words were all derived from the Bible,” said Albert Tabino, a guest. “I want to continue listening to the teachings of the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” he added.

“Unity has been evident,” observed Ma. Ana Ramirez, a guest. “I’m awed by the fact that my workmates, who are members of this Church, were still able to allot time to participate in these kinds of activities even though we’re busy at work.”

“We will never stop cooperating with the intensified work of propagation of God’s words, no matter how busy the people in this area are. We will continue to be united with the Church Administration so that more people will understand the truths written in the Bible,” said Brother Daniel Lacson, assistant district supervising minister, on behalf of the district. —With reports from May Ann Dela Cruz of INC News Section
