Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the 76 local congregations and extensions in the Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan, Philippines, invited fellow Pangasinenses to listen to the proclamation of God’s words on February 25, 2024 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Hundred Islands.

With God’s help, over a thousand guests accepted the brethren’s invitation and turned out for the evangelistic activity. They were able to listen to a Bible-based lesson preached by Brother Arnel A. Tumanan, minister of the gospel from the Church’s Central Office.

Among those who responded to the Church Administration’s call to be active in the work of propagation was Kristina Cabanada, a choir member from the Alos Congregation. Despite her busy schedule as a student, she said, “As a preparation, I spoke with my classmates and invited those who could attend the evangelical mission.”

Aurora Catabay, choir leader from the Tondo Congregation, thanked God “for the opportunity to invite her friends and loved ones to the activity and to share her faith.”

During the study of the words of God, Brother Tumanan emphasized the value of knowing the true God, the Father—knowing Him will lead to eternal life.

Dina Ignacio, Cabanada’s classmate and one of the guests, shared her insights about what she learned from the evangelical mission: “It is necessary for one to join the Church Of Christ to be saved on Judgment Day.” Asked if she’ll attend again in the future, she responded, “I’ll definitely do. I want to know more about this Church.” — With reports from Jorilan Marcos and Rhobel Joyce Valdez of INC News Section
