The Local Congregation of Tisa in the Ecclesiastical District of Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines, reached its eighth decade of establishment. In celebration, brethren there, led by local Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, conducted a musical program entitled “80 Years of Faith, Love, and Hope” at La Paloma Gym on October 19, 2025.

After the opening prayer led by head deacon Antonio Pille III, resident minister Brother Alex Lozano delivered the opening remarks, thanking God for “His unceasing guidance and assistance to our local congregation even presently in its 80th year.”

Select brethren then sang INC original songs. Children’s Worship Service members performed Kahit Ako Ay Bata (Even If I’m Still A Child) and Laging Magpasalamat Sa Diyos (Always Thank God). Hymn A Prayer To God was interpreted through sign language by officers and members of the Christian Society for the Deaf. Other brethren also danced to and sang hymns like Ipagdiwang Ang Kaniyang Kaningningan (Celebrate The Church’s Glory), and Lahat Ng Gawain Ay Ating Ipagtagumpay (Let Us Succeed In All The Church’s Work), among others.

District KADIWA president Cheryl Moana Marie Enriquez of Consolacion Congregation shared her gladness being “invited to witness the anniversary celebration. As someone who grew up in Tisa, I’m so happy to see the brethren remaining active and steadfast though many years have passed by already.”

“All the sleepless nights and effort to prepare and organize this event proved rewarding as we saw happiness among the attendees,” shared KADIWA officer and event organizer Cecille Jane Tamidles. “Indeed, thanks be to God for He uses the Church Administration in guiding us in executing activities for all CFO members.”

The event concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Cebu City, Cebu District supervising minister Brother Jomar Dueñas followed by a prayer.

On behalf of the brethren in Tisa, Brother Lozano promised to “remain zealous in the performance of our duties and unite with the Church Administration, serving God no matter the situation to ensure being saved.”
