For the second-leg of the TSV Tradeshow and Seminar this year, more than 2,500 technical support for videostreaming (TSV) officers in 21 ecclesiastical districts in Visayas, Philippines gathered on February 24, 2024. The Ecclesiastical District of Cebu City, Cebu hosted this event in Sky Hall, SM Seaside City Cebu.

Attendees were from the districts of Aklan; Antique; Bacolod City, Negros Occidental; Bogo City, Cebu; Bohol; Capiz; Carcar City, Cebu; Eastern Samar; Iloilo North; Iloilo South; Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental; Leyte East; Leyte West; Negros del Norte; Negros Oriental; Northern Samar; Valladolid, Negros Occidental; Western Samar.

“Our coordination with the districts here in Visayas as early as January this year was not in vain. The brethren’s active response has been evident,” enthused Brother Jayson Doronio, one of the ministers assigned to oversee the TSV. Rightly so since “it is the vision of our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, to further make technological advancements for the benefit of the growing Church,” he added.

As its name signifies, “Tradeshow,” the first part of the day’s event encouraged the attendees to explore the technical booths set up by the said districts, which engaged their delegates into multi-faceted programs that either manufacture or provide technical services.

Seminars about video systems, networks, audio training, video training, among others, were held later that day.

“It’s a privilege for our district to host this event,” said John Mark Luder, the TSV coordinator of Cebu City District. “Though a lot of the delegates had to travel five to seven hours just to get here, we did our best so that it’s worth their effort. Fortunately, they’re all smiles.”

“I’ve been given a glimpse of how vast the needs of the Church are and how usage of technology can greatly help in addressing these,” said Brother Jay-ar Solano, minister of the gospel and TSV coordinator of the Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental. On behalf of fellow TSV officers, he further said, “We thank the Church Administration for providing us with this activity. We will continue fulfilling our God-given duty for the Church’s welfare.”
