On October 8, 2025—four days before the 850-seater house of worship of the Local Congregation of Kaunlaran in Navotas City, Metro Manila marked its 40th anniversary since being dedicated to God on October 12, 1985—Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the Church’s Deputy Executive Minister, led the brethren of this congregation in a worship service to God.
One of the key points he emphasized during the study of God’s words was the importance of training in godliness. He explained that while physical training has some value, training in godliness or living according to God’s will is far more beneficial, as it holds promise for all aspects of life. He reminded the members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) that such spiritual discipline is essential for them to attain salvation, especially in today’s world where evil is widespread.
Before the preaching, the opening prayer was led by Brother Bedanio L. Ubaldo, CAMANAVA District supervising minister. After the sermon, Brother Angelo Manalo led the congregation in prayer. Brother Joji Crisostomo then led the prayer for the voluntary offerings. Afterwards, Brother Angelo Manalo said the benediction.
True to the congregation’s name Kaunlaran, which means “progress” in English, the Church members strive to be progressive in their services to God. They firmly believe that by doing so, they can remain steadfast in their faith and become worthy of His blessings.
Assisting further in edifying the faith of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members, the Church’s Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, officiated at a special worship service to God at the Local Congregation of De Castro, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East on October 1, 2025.
After the singing of hymns of praise, Brother Ralph Francis Esguerra led the congregational prayer before the study of God’s words. Brother Angelo Manalo, in his Bible-based sermon, reminded the brethren that they are guaranteed to receive God’s blessings as they were completely pardoned of their sins when they became Church Of Christ members—Christ’s redeemed. They were then exhorted to protect such grace by devoting themselves to service and being holy. The Deputy Executive Minister cited from the Bible that living in holiness means doing exactly what God wants and not conforming to the ideas and opinions that go against God’s will. Their conviction ought to be to remain on the side of righteousness and never draw back no matter how prevalent wickedness and problems are in this world.
After his preaching, Brother Angelo Manalo led the brethren in a heartfelt prayer. Then, Brother Edwil D. Zabala prayed for the offerings. The Deputy Executive Minister said the benediction.
September 28, 2025 was a red-letter day for 98 district safety overseers (DSO)—being the most recent addition to the roster of Church officers. They took oath of office that day during the special worship service attended also by the Christian Employees Association (CEA) officers and members, which the Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, officiated at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Doña Faustina Housing, Ecclesiastical District of Central. Safety officers from various districts in the United States and Canada also attended at remote sites linked via livestreaming.
In his Bible-based homily, Brother Angelo Manalo emphasized the timeliness of the establishment of the said office in ensuring the brethren’s safety as they fulfill their Church duties. Out of their sincere love of God and for the Church, Church officers must remain united with the Church Administration in looking after the brethren’s welfare as they sojourn in this life, ensuring not just their physical safety but above all, their salvation on Judgment Day.
To serve as role models before the brethren, the officers must also abound in faith. They ought to do their best in improving their faith by adding with it goodness, understanding, self-control, patience, devotion to God, and concern for others—“the reason we now have safety officers,” Brother Angelo Manalo pointed out.
Brother Diosdado F. Dades, Central District supervising minister, led the congregation in a prayer before the homily. Brother Angelo Manalo led the prayer of thanks after his preaching. Then, Brother Rex Rosquites administered the oath-taking of newly appointed officers, followed by a prayer led by Brother Ayayib Puno. The prayer for the voluntary offerings was led by Brother Dindo Gealone. Brother Angelo Manalo said the benediction.
God’s message resonated with people from all walks of life once more as the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) held a worldwide evangelical mission on September 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. PHT, officiated by the Deputy Executive
Minister Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo. In the study of God’s words, Brother Angelo Manalo cited Bible verses showing how God desires not only to bless people in this life but to grant them the grace of salvation and eternal life—on the condition that they faithfully obey all of His commandments. He then expounded on the teaching of God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, emphasizing the utmost importance of entering His fold—the Church Of Christ—for people to be saved on Judgment Day.
The Deputy Executive Minister’s preaching, and the entire proceedings of the event, were streamed live to 3,222 sites (3,133 in the Philippines and 89 abroad), mostly houses of worship. The host site was the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Francisco in the Ecclesiastical District of Central in Quezon City, Philippines.
The host site was filled to capacity with invited guests accompanied by brethren from the local congregations of Araneta, Bago Bantay, Galas, La Loma, and Pugad Lawin, aside from San Francisco. In the host district alone, the number of guests in all of its sites totaled around 10,000.
Brother Edwil Zabala delivered the welcome remarks and led the attendees in a prayer. Brother Marlone Balason led the prayer after the Deputy Executive Minister’s preaching.
Renewed inspiration and fortified faith filled the hearts of the members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Local Congregation of EGM Avenue, Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga North, as they attended the worship service officiated by the Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, on September 14, 2025.
The gathering commenced with a heartfelt singing of hymns of praise. This was followed by the opening prayer led by Brother Edwil D. Zabala.
In his Bible-based homily, Brother Angelo Eraño Manalo expounded on how vital it is for Church Of Christ members, being God’s chosen people in these last days, to put effort into their salvation. This requires them to put their total attention on their life with God, working hard to do good or completely obey God’s commandments.
The Deputy Executive Minister further exhorted the brethren to stay on the path toward salvation by living a life of moral courage based on God’s teachings, especially in these times when people are preoccupied with worldly concerns. Brother Angelo Manalo then led the brethren in a prayer after his homily.
The offertory prayer was led by Brother Ralph Francis Esguerra. The benediction was said by the Deputy Executive Minister, who, afterwards, took time to personally greet all the attendees.
