Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the local congregations of National City, California and Chula Vista held evangelical missions in their respective houses of worship the former on March 13 and the latter on the 21st.
This was part of their commemoration of the Ecclesiastical District of San Diego County, California’s 10th anniversary.
Per the district’s Light of Salvation Committee, the other local congregations would be conducting their evangelical missions for the proclamation of the pure gospel of salvation before the end of March.
“Our purpose is to clearly share God’s teachings so people can understand His will,” disclosed Brother Israel Dorado Jr., a minister assigned in National City. “We hope everyone who listens is inspired to seek the truth and continue serving Him.”
In both evangelistic activities district supervising minister Brother Matthew Capistrano enlightened the guests regarding the Church founded by the Lord Jesus Christ, redeemed with His blood, and the only one assured of salvation come Judgment Day. He proved through Bible verses that this true Church is the Iglesia Ni Cristo or Church Of Christ.
“It was a meaningful experience,” said guest by the name of Ezequiel Picazo Jr. who attended at the National City Congregation house of worship. “The message was easy to understand and gave me a lot to think about. I’m glad I accepted the invitation and came to listen.”
Many of the guests expressed desire to know more about the biblical teachings that the Church upholds.
“It’s a blessing to support the work that helps people learn God’s words,” explained deacon Will Rivera, also from National City, who brought along a guest. “Be it a small way being of help, taking part of this endeavor feels meaningful and fulfilling to me.” — With assistance from Christian Benedict Co
