KAWIT, Cavite — Hundreds of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) members took part in a large-scale blood donation drive on April 12, 2025, for patients at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) and the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH).
“Our brethren (INC members) are pleased to participate in activities like these because it allows them to help others meaningfully,” said Brother Manuel Santos, INC District Supervising Minister of Cavite.
Dr. Bethany Joy Ramos from JBLMGH expressed profound gratitude to the INC for their continued partnership in blood donation activities. She said the INC usually holds a blood donation drive with JBLMGH every three months. “We’re always extremely thankful. The support from INC members is overwhelming—they’re one of our biggest voluntary donor groups,” Dr. Ramos said.
For every blood donation, a donor can help save three lives, explained Rody Macabudbod, a fourth-year medical technology student and intern at PCMC, who shared his insights.
This program is one of the many humanitarian initiatives the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) carried out to extend help to individuals and entire communities in need.
The Iglesia Ni Cristo has active members and congregations in more than 160 countries and territories.
