In fulfillment of God’s will to do good to others whenever possible, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Local Congregation of UP 1, Ecclesiastical District of Makati, participated in a blood donation activity. It was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall 2, Rambutan St., Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City, Philippines on June 22, 2025.
The congregation and the district Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers collaborated with the Philippine Orthopedic Center (POC) for this humanitarian effort that was supervised by resident minister Brother Rodillo Gache.
Prior to the blood donation, the brethren underwent screening. Afterwards, qualified donors proceeded to the actual donation, during which more than 40 bags of blood were collected and donated to the POC.
“This activity not only allows us to help save lives but also strengthens our unity in faith and service,” said head deacon Florencio Asto Jr.
Another donor, area overseer Federico Aquinde Jr. said, “Knowing that I’m contributing to the community gives me a great sense of fulfillment.”
“This holy endeavor is our remaining united with the Church Administration in all Church activities. Doing this pleases God,” said Brother Gache on behalf of the congregation. — With reports from Mark Angel Quinan
