On April 27, 2025, the Ecclesiastical District of Victoria, Australia, held a special gathering for all choir members. The Local Congregation of Melbourne, Victoria, served as the host site, from where district supervising minister Brother Romeo Beltran officiated. Connected via livestreaming, the remote sites were the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Adelaide, South Australia; Lae City, Papua New Guinea; Port Moresby, PNG; Gippsland, Victoria; Shepparton, Victoria as well as that of the Hobart, Tasmania Group Worship Service (GWS); Naracoorte, So. Australia GWS; and Warrnambool, Victoria GWS.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Beltran emphasized the vital role of choir members, especially during worship services. By leading the congregation in hymn-singing, they help the brethren feel God’s presence through His sending of the Holy Spirit, which strengthens their faith and resolve as members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). He encouraged them to wholeheartedly fulfill their duties despite life’s challenges, in order to please God and receive the blessings He lays in store for His faithful servants.

Chloe Dela Paz from Adelaide, South Australia expressed, “The words of God reminded me of how important our role is during worship services. I felt truly uplifted. This gathering has given me a deeper appreciation of my duty, and I’m more motivated than ever to fulfill it with sincerity and love for God.”

Emmylou Sanchez from Melbourne, Victoria Congregation said, “This special gathering was truly inspiring. I thank the Lord God for the spiritual blessings He continues to give us. Moments like this deepen our unity and inspire us to remain devoted in our service to Him.”

Among the attendees was Danica Amazona from the Local Congregation of Wyndham. “I thank the Lord God for entrusting me with this sacred duty. I will continue using my voice to inspire the brethren and to give honor and glory to the Lord God. Despite being busy in life, I will always prioritize my duty to the Lord,” she shared. — With reports from Kez Gutierrez of INC News Section
