In gratitude to God for their congregation’s 21 years of establishment, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from the Local Congregation of Victoria, Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia, Canada, united in spreading God’s words through an evangelical mission held on May 11, 2025.
In the week leading up to the evangelistic activity, brethren—led by the resident minister, Brother Linito De Aro—distributed invitations to prospective guests, including family members, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
Jess Salvani, one of the head deacons, shared his thoughts on uniting with the Church Administration in sharing the true faith: “As members of the Church, we’re lights of the world, that is, we must ‘shine’ by following God’s commandments. That way, we become His instruments in encouraging others to also obey His will—for them to also be saved.”
Brother De Aro led the evangelical mission that was held at the congregation’s house of worship. During the lesson, he shared the biblical teachings upheld by the Church Of Christ, placing special emphasis on the importance of becoming part of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. He explained that to be deemed worthy of salvation, one must be found in the one true Church—the Church Of Christ.
Among those who appreciated being part of the event were Berna Sampang and Hanna Banquilay, both of whom expressed a desire “to join the Church” by signing up as doctrinal instructees.
Another guest, Miki Miyajima, originally from Japan, was “impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the brethren. I’m eager to attend future gatherings of the Church.” — With reports from Rhonda Lee Salvani of INC News Section
