The Ecclesiastical District of Zambales North, Philippines, held a blood donation activity in a covered court at Baywalk, Masinloc, Zambales, on March 2, 2024. The beneficiary organization of the said activity was the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH).

“Our hospital’s biggest partner is the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). We’re very grateful to the organization in general, as well as to the individual members for the trust given to our institution,” said Dr. Bethany Joy Ramos, physician from JBLMGH.

With the health screenings facilitated by Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers and JBLMGH staff, Iglesia Ni Cristo members from various local congregations in the district wholeheartedly take part in providing healthcare assistance to their fellowmen, especially those who are in need of blood transfusion.

Nurse Shann Angel Marcia, choir member in the Local Congregation of Bato, said, “It feels great that for the second time I’ve been given the opportunity to be of help to others who are in need. After all, donating blood has health benefits on the part of the donors.”

“This blood donation drive will indeed benefit our patients. We express our gratitude to the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for choosing our institution as beneficiary,” Dr. Ramos added on behalf of the JBLMGH. — With reports from Zambales North Multimedia
