A total of eleven local congregations in two areas of the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales North collaborated to clean up the seacoast in Brgy. Sto. Rosario of Iba Town, Zambales, Philippines on March 25, 2023.

Participating congregations from the Iba area were Amungan, Iba, San Agustin, Sta. Barbara, Sto. Rosario, and Tambac; and those from Palauig were Bato, Bulawen, Palauig, Pangolingan, and Salaza. Palauig, like Iba, is a municipality in Zambales Province.

Starting out early in the morning, the brethren from the said congregations joined  the cleanup drive, clearing the seashore of debris and litter to “help keep our surroundings clean,” according to Camile Rufin, KADIWA president of the Local Congregation of Iba.

“Not only did our brothers and sisters in the faith proved genuine their concern for the environment,” Ellender Eclevia, Buklod district president from the Local Congregation of Masinloc, concurred. “The bond of brotherhood has been strengthened as well. Thus, we will always do our best in keeping up with the activities launched by the Church Administration.” — With reports from INC News Section
