The Ecclesiastical District of Makati, in the Philippines, held a baptism on February 28, 2026, adding to the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) 121 new members. The baptism was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Pasay.

The baptismal gathering was officiated by assistant district supervising minister Brother Kevin S. Casubha. Highlighting the importance of joining the true Church, he encouraged the candidates for baptism to be active members until the end for them to be sure of receiving the promised salvation.

After the study of God’s words, district edification overseer Brother Henry Robles led the candidates’ taking oath of membership prior to their actual baptism by immersion into water.

“It’s one of our primary duties, to be ‘lights of this world,’ which we uphold by sharing our faith, among other ways,” said Roberto Barcellano, a leadership aide and Light of Salvation overseer in Pasay Congregation. “That is why I continue to be instrumental in helping others, who are not yet members of the Church, understand what we in the Church firmly believe in.”

A friend’s invitation paved the way for my conversion into the Church. The Bible studies on doctrines and the worship services I’ve later on attended likewise greatly helped to my conversion as I saw for myself how all the teachings here in the Iglesia Ni Cristo are biblical,” shared newly baptized Mc Johnver Lacandili from Parañaque Congregation.

The baptism was followed by a Welcome, Kapatid Ko (My Brethren) held in the compound of the house of worship.
