Church members from the Local Congregation of Bayanbayanan, Ecclesiastical District of Marikina, commemorated the 104th anniversary of their congregation’s establishment on February 2, 2025. The highlight of the event was the special worship service held on January 22 officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo.

In Brother Angelo Manalo’s Bible-based homily, he reminded God’s chosen ones to fight for their faith against the devil. And that to triumph against their enemy, they should renounce all evil deeds or anything that is displeasing before God’s sight. He further inspired the brethren to keep on placing their trust in God despite the many hindrances that they face in serving Him. In doing so, God will keep them safe during times of troubles until their salvation on Judgment Day is fully realized.

Brother Cyrus Jose E. Dizon, the district supervising minister, led the congregants in a prayer before the study of God’s words. Then, Brother Daniel Solano Jr., a minister of the gospel, led the prayer after the preaching. Brother Angelo Manalo said the benediction.

On the morning of January 11, 2025, brethren in the Local Congregation of Capitol, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City, gathered at their 3,500-seater house of worship located along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, Philippines. They were elated to learn that Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo would officiate at their worship service that day.

Preaching from the Bible, Brother Angelo Manalo reminded the brethren to continue working out their salvation by faithfully obeying God’s commandments that they receive during worship services. He emphasized that since the Church was commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of Brother Eraño G. Manalo, the Church’s Executive Minister from 1963 to 2009, brethren ought to always remember one of the things Brother Eraño Manalo taught from the Bible: to actively pursue spiritual maturity and bring it to full effect.

Brother Angelo Manalo exhorted the brethren to live clean lives by asking God in their prayers to train them in good living. He stated that this is the reason Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, always teaches Church members an important tenet of the true faith—to always live a Christian way of life and not get swayed by wrong beliefs.

Brother Angelo Manalo also admonished the brethren, especially the youth, to make right decisions by doing what pleases the Lord God. Church Of Christ members who want to be in the right standing with God happily obey God’s laws and never compromise their faith.

Brethren from the Local Congregation of Projects 2 & 3, Ecclesiastical District of Central, received a great spiritual blessing on January 8, 2025 as their Wednesday evening worship service was officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo.

In his Bible-based homily, he taught that those who give glory to God firmly uphold a righteous way of life. Those who live righteously remain obedient to all of God’s commands and they conduct their lives differently from those of the people of this world.

Brother Angelo Manalo also emphasized that God’s people must always choose to do what God wants them to do despite the trials they encounter because by doing so, they are certain of receiving His promise of salvation. He gave as an example God’s early servants who, in the midst of troubles, never ceased praying to God and worshiping Him.

As he concluded his homily, Brother Angelo Manalo inspired the brethren to firmly believe, trust in, and rely on what God can do for His people whom He truly cares for.

Brother Reynaldo Arizala Jr., the assistant district supervising minister, led the prayer after the hymn-singing. Brother Daniel Solano Jr. led the prayer after the preaching of the lesson, while Brother Willy Arjay Soriano, the resident minister, led the prayer for the offerings. Brother Angelo Manalo said the benediction.

January 2, 2025 marked the 100th birth anniversary of Brother Eraño G. Manalo, the Executive Minister of the Church from 1963 to 2009. To commemorate this milestone, the Church Administration sent Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo to officiate at a special worship service to God at the Local Congregation of Pasig, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East on the aforementioned date.

Brother Angelo Manalo taught from the Bible God’s command of remembering the spiritual leaders that He placed in the Church by observing the manner they lived and imitating their faith (Heb. 13:7). Hence, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members reminisce the birth centenary of Brother Erano G. Manalo—the predecessor of the current Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo—in a manner rooted in biblical teachings.

During the gathering, the brethren were encouraged to reflect on the unwavering efforts of the Church Administrators—both past and present—in proclaiming and teaching God’s words with wisdom to present them perfect before Christ (Col. 1:28–29). Brother Angelo Manalo emphasized that leading a life worthy of salvation is essential in attaining God’s promise (Phil. 2:12).

What the Church Administration toiled for the Church’s welfare will never be in vain if the brethren remain obedient to the gospel that they received. This is why, even when Brother Eraño Manalo had been laid to rest, Church members commemorate him, especially on his birth anniversary, by studying biblical lectures that he had outlined and striving to apply them in life.

The opening prayer of the said gathering was led by Brother Carl Phillip Te. After the homily, Brother Joji Crisostomo led the congregation in a prayer.

live good lives’

The highlight of preparation for the thanksgiving worship services in the Local Congregation of Sangandaan-Caloocan, Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA, Philippines, happened on December 11, 2024, when Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo officiated at a special worship service there. He expounded on why the brethren ought to always be thankful to God and how they can all the more prove this.

Just as there were people in ancient times whom God called His chosen (I Sam. 12:22), there are also those whom He has called to truly serve Him today—the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members (Isa. 62:11–12; 41:9–10; Acts 20:28 Lamsa Translation). Reminiscing on how God continues upholding the Church through its 110 years, Brother Angelo Manalo rhetorically asked, “Why then should we not be thankful?” He added, “This is not the work of man, but of God.”

Brother Angelo reminded the brethren, saying, “That is why we have thanksgiving worship services.” He encouraged the brethren to come back to the house of worship in fulfillment of God’s faithful servants’ promise, which includes their thanksgiving offering. The brethren can all the more prove such thankfulness by striving to live good lives. In that way also, they strive to be pleasing to God by being mindful of their actions, including how they use social me- dia. Brother Angelo Manalo explained, “If we are not careful, we might fail to please God in what we do and show that we are not truly faithful to Him.”

The prayer before the preaching of God’s words was led by Brother Melencio Marcos Jr. The prayer after the homily was led by Brother Leopoldo Jean Ricardo.

On the early morning of December 4, 2024, brethren from Riverside Local Congregation in Quezon City Ecclesiastical District received spiritual blessings through the worship service officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Angelo Manalo pointed out what the apostles foretold regarding the people of the world nowadays—that the culture of society will become extremely fierce, and that more people will try to do evil deeds. He then emphasized that members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) ought to live differently from the people of this world instead of imitating their sinful ways. Those who abide by this admonition strive to live as true Christians. They completely obey God’s teachings, and do all things that are pleasing to Him. As such, they will be certain of salvation on Judgment Day.

Brother Leopoldo Jean Ricardo led the prayer after the singing of hymns of praises, while Brother Daniel Aglipay Jr. led the congregation in a prayer after the homily. The prayer for the voluntary offerings was led by Brother Joji Crisostomo. Brother Angelo Manalo said the benediction.

The holy gathering was also witnessed via livestreaming by brethren gathered in four other sites in the district, namely, the houses of worship of the local congregations of Martan, Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, and Pilot.

The Local Congregation of San Mateo, Ecclesiastical District of Marikina reached the 75th anniversary of its establishment on November 15, 2024. Expressing their heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty God, the brethren were led by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo in a special worship service held on December 8, 2024.

Instead, they must use God’s words as their guide towards salvation, so as not to fall victim into the devil’s traps such as temptations and ungodly principles.

Brother Leopoldo Jean Ricardo led the congregation in the prayer after the singing of hymns of praises, while Brother Joji Crisostomo led the prayer after the preaching of God’s words. After the offertory prayer led by Brother Daniel Aglipay Jr., Brother Angelo Manalo himself said the benediction.
