As their way of celebrating Buklod’s 63rd anniversary, married members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from the Local Congregations of West Palm Beach and Miami, Ecclesiastical District of Caribbean, attended a Buklod Night at the latter’s function hall on December 7, 2025.

In his opening remarks, district supervising minister Brother Garry Garcia highlighted how meaningful such an activity is, being a way to celebrate marriage and strengthen unity among Christian couples. “Marriage is a God-centered union. It must be sustained by faith, love, patience, and obedience to help couples overcome life’s challenges,” he said.

Afterwards, talented brethren sang their rendition of INC original songs, such as Till My Days Are Done and “Sa’yo Lang (Only Yours)” that speak of true servants’ firm resolve of loving their better half.

In between these performances were the dinner and some games prepared for couples.

“Absolutely electric was the energy everyone has from start to finish. The brethren truly interacted during the program,” enthused Miami Congregation Buklod president William Hunt. Thus, he regarded his and fellow officers’ efforts for this activity’s fruition as “both rewarding and blessed. You can see the collaboration and talented brethren coming together with ideas, work ethic, and creativity to put on such an amazing event.”

“As we enjoy, laugh, and reflect tonight, we remember that marriage is a gift—beautiful and sacred gift from our Almighty God,” said Brother Garcia. On behalf of the married brethren, he added, “It is a joy for the Buklod organization to gather together to celebrate the Buklod’s 63rd anniversary. Activities like this matters, reminding us that marriage is not meant to be isolation. We grow stronger when we worship together and stand side by side with other couples in unity with the Church Administration.”
