Married members from the Rizal Ecclesiastical District got together for a Buklod Night at the Queens Garden in Greenland Subdivision, Cainta, Rizal, on January 18, 2026.

“This activity served as an opportunity for Buklod members in the district to meet and share their experiences with one another,” explained district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Earl Gem Lacson. “By doing so, they form stronger bonds which will be of great help toward the success of future activities that will be held.”

The event commenced with a prayer led by district edification overseer Brother Robert Saquido, followed by the opening remarks of district Buklod president Romulo Delos Reyes.

The couples were serenaded by the members of the Rizal Production Company (RPC) with their rendition of INC original songs. Afterwards, the husbands and wives received souvenir items as they enjoyed a sumptuous dinner.

District supervising minister Brother Alfonso Rico delivered the closing remarks thanking everyone, but more significantly pointing out the significance of starting the year right by showing zeal in taking part in Church activities. The program concluded with a prayer led by assistant district supervising minister Brother Jhavern Gindoy.

District Buklod secretary Joann Reyes shared that the activity “served as a testament of the married brethren’s love for one another, and the great camaraderie they have with fellow Buklod members.”

Deaconess Romina Espinosa from Antipolo Congregation expressed that she “was happy for being able to take part in this activity.” She also thanked the Church Administration “for launching activities like this which fortified the bond that we share with our brethren.” — With reports from Antonio Aibel Arieta
