A vibrant and lively concert concluded the 90th anniversary celebration of the Local Congregation of Maharlika, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon West, in the Philippines, on February 9, 2026 at Tiaong Town Plaza.

The milestone commemoration began as early as January 10 with a special worship service officiated at by the Church’s General Secretary, Brother Rene J. Panoncillo, during which they offered thanks and praises to God for 9 decades of blessings to the congregation.

The concert started with a prayer led by ministerial worker Brother Hansley John Rivera. It was followed by the opening remarks of resident ministerial worker Brother Jedric Ivan Eleazar, in which he said, “We thank the Lord God for, through the Church Administration, we were given this wonderful opportunity to commemorate our congregation’s anniversary.”

Afterwards, musical performances featuring INC original songs delighted the brethren in attendance. KADIWA member Judy Ann Canoy performed her rendition of Ngayon Na (“Now Is The Time”). Then, selected finance and secretariat officers chorally sang Ang Pag-awit Sa Iyo Ay Kaaliwan (“Singing To You Is My Joy”), while Ang Nasa Kahalalan Ay Nabubuhay Sa Kabanalan (“God’s Elect Live In Holiness”) by the choir members.

“My heart is filled with joy being able to use my talent in expressing our gratitude to God,” enthused finance officer Esther Vergara.

Meanwhile, Children’s Worship Service members performed “I am Proud To Be Iglesia Ni Cristo.” Talented Buklod and KADIWA members, respectively, rendered Magpapasakop Sa Namamahala Sa Iglesia (“We Will Submit To The Church Administration”) and Ang Tungkuling Itiniwala, Puspusan Naming Magawa (“The Entrusted Duty We Will Fully Fulfill”).

“It’s such a blessed moment for me and my family to unite in this activity,” expressed deacon Ron John Tabios. “We were surely strengthened in our faith and inspired all the more to perform our duties to God,” he further stated.

Gracing the event with his presence, Quezon West District supervising minister Brother Christopher Angeles said the closing remarks and led the prayer afterwards.

As the Maharlika congregants look forward to more faithful years, Brother Eleazar said on their behalf, “We will remain zealous in the performance of our duties, that no matter what happens, we’ll serve God to receive salvation.”
