Brethren from the Local Congregation of Malaya, Ecclesiastical District of Batangas North in the Philippines, gathered with joy as their newly-renovated 150-seater house of worship was dedicated to the Lord God through a special worship service on March 20, 2026.

District supervising minister Brother Ramir Q. Pabalate Sr. officiated at the holy gathering. In his Bible-based lesson, he emphasized the significance of the house of worship in the lives of God’s people. He reminded the congregants, “This is the holy place where God’s servants gather to render true worship and offer prayers to Him. Herein God promised to open the doors to all of His goodness.”

During the worship service, “God’s presence was truly felt,” attested deaconess Ma. Leonora Paclibar. “Spiritual blessings were overflowing. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit,” added Honorata Fernandez, an active member.

Resident ministerial worker Brother Rafael Santoalla said, “I’m thanking the Church Administration for remembering our congregation. Most of all, I thank the Lord God for all His love and mercy. All praises be unto Him.”

The chapel, which is at Brgy. Malaya, Rosario, Batangas, was built with a pastoral house, guard house, renovated local offices, receiving room, a Technical Support for Videostreaming (TSV) room, and essential equipment such as a generator, CCTV system, and Johannus organ.

On behalf of the brethren, assistant district supervising minister Brother Emmerson Llabres affirmed, “The brethren will continue to take care and value this sacred edifice. It will also serve as a place where more people, who are not yet members of the Church, will be invited to listen to the words of God.” — With assistance from Dean Adriel Silva
