“My wife and I are very happy for we’re able to take part in this activity which brings joy and inspiration not only to us, but also to our fellow Buklod members in our congregation,” shared Raul Dela Cruz, a head deacon from Galas Congregation, Central Ecclesiastical District.
The Dela Cruz couple, with other married Church members, took part in the Buklod Night that was held on August 24, 2025 at The Magnolia Residences Tower B along N. Domingo St., New Manila, Quezon City, Philippines.
Donned in elegant dresses and fine suits, Buklod members entered the black-and-gold-themed Function Rooms B & C of the said establishment wherein they took time to bond with their brethren and have their souvenir photos taken at the designated photo booth as they wait for the program to begin.
During the program, the married brethren were serenaded by fellow Buklod members with INC original music, wherein in one part, roses were given to the married females. Also included in the said program was a video presentation wherein the parents were able to hear the heartfelt messages of their respective children. The program concluded with a closing prayer led by local Christian Family Organizations overseer Brother Jay Mhar Domingo.
In an interview, local Buklod secretary and choir member Charisma Gemeniano observed that “the guests enjoyed the program, and it is also evident that they gave time to prepare as they entered with elegant gowns and tuxedos, matching the spectacular venue.”
“This activity became successful because of God’s help and mercy,” explained resident minister Brother Marven Alcantara. “We can see how everyone present in this activity had fun during the entire event. This joy then motivates them to renew their zeal and strengthen their faith to remain active in serving the Almighty God no matter what happens in their life.”
The said event was part of the series of activities held in commemoration of the congregation’s 8th anniversary. Among the other activities conducted were a free medical check-up (August 2); Unity Games local level finals (August 16); special meeting of Church officers (August 17); Pasugo distribution drives (August 18 and 21); an evangelical mission (August 26); and a toy exhibit and pre-loved toy giving (August 30).
