The Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA, in the Philippines, inducted 131 choir members and 103 other Church officers during the special gathering of choir members at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Valenzuela on November 24, 2025.

Assistant district supervising minister Brother Arnel Trinidad officiated at the gathering. He preached a biblical lesson about the importance of hymn-singing as part of worship services that gives glory to God. He also emphasized the value of renewing one’s life for the Church officers to remain pleasing before God’s sight.

“For members of the Church Of Christ, receiving a duty is a great gift from God, because He uses those entrusted with duties as instruments to strengthen the brethren, safeguard their faith, and guide them in offering worthy service,” Brother Trinidad explained. “The newly-sworn officers will thus bring added strength to the district, helping the Church Administration in caring for the brethren, leading the Church in its works, especially in the propagation of God’s truth. Indeed, continually adding more officers in the Church is so important.”

After the homily, district edification overseer Brother Willie Serioza administered the oath-taking.

“We sincerely thank the Father for blessing us with additional choir members among other officers in the Church,” enthused assistant district choir director Edamae Olajay. “We are determined to continually improve the quality of our singing, all for the glory of the Father.”

“I thank our Lord God for guiding me throughout my journey—from the time I was still training to be a choir member up to this moment when I’ve now taken my oath,” expressed newly appointed choir member Cassandra June Rosales from the Local Congregation of Naval. “To be entrusted with a duty inside the Church Of Christ is truly a blessing from the Father. I will help in serving His holy Church.” — With assistance from Rosanna Ramos
