Married members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from the Daang Bago Local Congregation in Bataan Ecclesiastical District, Philippines, attended the Buklod Night that was hosted at the Peridot Luxury Resort and Villas in Daang Bago, Dinalupihan, Bataan on November 2, 2025.
Resident minister Brother Rhelly John Cabay led the activity. “Having the bond and love between Buklod members strengthened—especially their faith—they will be able to continue leading their respective households in active services to our Lord God,” he said of the activity’s significance.
The event’s program featured presentations of Iglesia Ni Cristo original songs performed by members of the KADIWA, Binhi, and Children’s Worship Service—many of whom were the attendees’ children. Thus, aside from fortifying marital bond, the event also became a way to thank the parents for their selfless efforts.
Couples enjoyed a sumptuous dinner in a formal and elegant setting, fostering deeper connection and shared joy. A particularly moving moment came when some of the attendees were surprised with video messages from their respective spouses who are working abroad.
“We’re all filled with joy. I thank our Lord God for granting us this beautiful and blessed opportunity,” enthused Buklod congregation president Alexander Velasco on behalf of all in attendance.
“It’s fun. The performances were uplifting, and I want to attend an activity like this again,” expressed Buklod member Michael Hilario who attended with his wife Bianca.
