For three consecutive weeks, select local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Mamburao, Mindoro Occidental, in the Philippines, conducted evangelical missions on various dates.

These were the local congregations of San Francisco (March 18, 2024), Cigaras and Cuarenta (March 25), Ligang, Paetan, Pag-asa, and Tinangra Extension (April 1).

In the said evangelistic activities, the assigned ministers preached a Bible-based lesson explaining that the one true Church that the Lord Jesus Christ redeemed with His blood, and hence promised salvation on Judgment Day, is the Church Of Christ.

Brethren from the said congregations united in bringing guests to their respective houses of worship. One of them was Maria Theresa Acosta, who attended the evangelical mission in Paetan. “The Iglesia Ni Cristo truly bases its beliefs in the Bible, and this is what makes this Church so unique,” she observed.

“The minister who preached the lesson clearly explained not from personal thoughts or words, but from the Bible,” said Ricardo Igaña, also a guest, whom the San Francisco Congregation.

Despite their busy schedules, Church Of Christ members remain unhindered in helping out in the Church’s propagation works. As a proof, prior to the evangelical missions, “we handed out Pasugo:God’s Message magazines to our neighbors, friends, and colleagues. Fortunately, most of whom we invited attended the evangelical mission. Our efforts did not end up in vain,” attested Charlie Domingo, finance officer from Paetan Congregation who is also a schoolteacher.

The said evangelical missions will not be the first and last attendance of first-time guests for, “the brethren kept in touch with their guests,” attested Light Of Salvation (LOS) overseer Brother Jerson Mendoza. “After the first evangelical mission [in San Francisco], the brethren managed to bring their guests to Bible studies, and even worship services, on succeeding days. The guests were interested to know more about God’s will,” he explained. — With reports from Deave Mendezabal of INC News Section
