One with the Church Administration’s aim of sharing God’s message of salvation to more people, the Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia held a musical evangelical mission on August 17, 2025 at Michael J. Fox Theatre.

Chorale groups, composed of selected brethren from local congregations in the district, treated the attendees with their rendition of various INC original music. Burnaby Congregation performed God Is By Our Side, He’s A Warrior So Divine; Wait For The Grace That Will Be Ours by Victoria and Nanaimo Congregations with Campbell River Group Worship Service; and Devote Ourselves To Worshiping by East Vancouver Congregation, among others. In between performances were audiovisual presentations of convert stories.

District Light of Salvation overseer Brother Churchill Ibasco said that the sharing of faith through musical presentations “add interest to people so that they’ll learn more about the Church Of Christ and God’s words uphold herein.”

“Passionate, touching, the music was beautiful,” said guest Xachary Cutts of the performances. “I’d love to come again especially in activities like this to learn, and because during this I felt cheerful,” he also expressed.

“This activity made us closer together, further strengthening the brotherhood, which I think is a good message to the guests as well,” said performer Matthew Reyes of Richmond Congregation.

Kimberly Castillo, a performer from Surrey Congregation, stated in an interview that taking part in the work of propagation is “not only God’s command but a way to exercise our faith and follow Christ’s example. And so, I promise to be a light wherever I go by doing the things that God expects from us.”

The district leadership, led by supervising minister Brother Glendo Baitan, oversaw the said activity. — With reports from Bryan Charles Belarmino and Rhonda Lee Salvani of INC News Section
