The participants gathered at the open grounds of the Naga City Oval, Cebu for the opening ceremony. They took the oath of sportsmanship. The song and dance numbers of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music that the KADIWA and Binhi members from the Ecclesiastical District of Carcar City, Cebu, the host district, followed.

“I thank the Lord God for providing me good health, enabling me to participate in this activity,” said John Resca Maramara, from the Local Congregation of Catmon, Bogo City, Cebu District. “During activities like this, as what is always reminded to us before the sports begin, the players are competitive but the love of brotherhood and unity prevail among us.”
