Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan, Philippines, spearheaded a blood donation activity at the Alaminos City Sports Complex, on November 4, 2023.

This socio-civic activity was made possible with the unified efforts of the CMDPS officers with the Social Services Office (SSO) of the Church and was held in collaboration with the Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC).

Brethren-volunteers first underwent health examinations to ascertain that they were qualified to become blood donors. The actual donation followed; 51 blood bags were collected.

“Donating blood is a great help for our fellowmen, especially for those who suffer from illnesses that require blood transfusions,” said Aldrin Casas from Carot Congregation. “Aside from helping our fellowmen in need, donating blood also improves my physical and emotional health,” he added.

With Brother Ricardo E. Alipio as its supervising minister, the Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan, comprises 59 local congregations and 17 extensions. — With reports from Trixie Delos Santos and May Ico of INC News Section
