Binhi Forum on value of parental respect held in Northern Europe

The forum aimed to reinforce among the youth in the Church the Christian value of genuine respect to their parents in the Lord.

The Binhi members watched a video presentation featuring a discussion grounded on biblical precepts about being grateful and showing respect to parents and elders. The video was prepared by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Office.

Jenny Hemedez, the district’s Binhi president, led the organization’s members in Northern Europe participating in the forum. “I’m further inspired to show my love unto my parents, to respect them, and to take care of them as they took care of me because they endure a lot for me so I want to always be the best for them,” she said.

“Through the discussion, I was reminded to not overlook but value the many things my parents did and have been doing for me, such as taking care of me, guiding me as I grew up, and how they are always there to protect me,” Jenny added. “It’s a great blessing from God to have responsible parents.” — With reports from Febe Ann Castro of INC News Section
