Heeding the call of the Ecclesiastical District of Valladolid, Negros Occidental’s leadership for suitable donors, brethren from various local congregations in the district voluntarily joined the blood donation drive held on November 5, 2022 at the public gymnasium of the town Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, Philippines.

One of them, Erman Espilicio, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from the Valladolid Congregation, said, “More than the health benefits blood donation brings, it’s my desire to be of help to others that convinced me to go out and donate blood today. I am with joy every time I donate blood.”

“This activity that the Church Administration launched is a manifestation of our concern for our fellowmen,” expressed Brother Dione Dumagat, a ministerial worker.

Prior to the actual blood extraction, each prospective donor underwent required health screening by medical personnel from the Negros Occidental Blood Center. — With reports from INC News Section
