Parents must raise their children with Christian discipline and instruction. Such exhortation predicated on the Holy Scriptures was highlighted during the special gatherings of Buklod members from the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe on December 3, 2023.

The said holy gatherings were simultaneously held at the houses of worship of the six local congregations in the district, namely, Antwerp, Belgium; Geneva, Switzerland; Marseille, France; Nice, France; Val-D’Oise, France and Versailles, France.

Brother Marvin Adriano, district supervising minister, officiated at Antwerp while his fellow ministers, who constitute the district leadership, at other aforementioned venues.

During the study of God’s words, the officiating ministers urged the parents to start imparting true Christian values to their children at their young age. By doing so, they will grow up with reverent fear of God, and thus strong in the faith, not easily deceived and swayed by evil deeds prevalent in this world.

“I am grateful to the Church Administration for relentlessly overseeing the spiritual welfare of every Church Of Christ household. The message that we parents received today has been truly helpful in strengthening our family and our faith,” said Marc Van Acker from Aalst, Belgium Group Worship Service (GWS).

“As long as I have my life and strength, I will always carry out my duty as a parent, that is, teaching my children God’s will that will lead them to salvation,” said Roland Mendoza from Marseille, France., “I will raise them with Christian discipline and instruction. I will make sure that they remain devoted to fulfilling their Church duties, so that all of us can finish our life’s journey, and altogether we will dwell in the Holy City that God lays in store for His faithful servants.” — With reports from INC News Section
