In 1918, Brother Felix Y. Manalo, whom Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members firmly believe as God’s Messenger in these last days, organized the Pagsamba ng Kabataan (PNK) or Children’s Worship Service (CWS).

Celebrating its 105th anniversary this year, the Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA, in the Philippines, held simultaneous special gatherings of all PNK officers in three separate venues on November 25, 2023, namely, the houses of worship of the local congregations of Grace Park, Malabon, and Malinta.

Brother Romeo Anthony Peña, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at Grace Park; Brother Willie Serioza, district edification overseer, at Malabon; and Brother Edgardo Macalinao, district overseer for Church officers, at Malinta.

During their Bible-based homily, the officiating ministers reminded the attendees to remain dedicated in fulfilling their Church duties. Being stewards of the young servants of God, they help the Church Administration in molding their young brethren by reinforcing Christian values among them. Doing so is important, the ministers added, so that as the children grow up, they will have a reverent fear of God, thereby valuing their God-given election to ensure salvation on Christ’s return.

“I’m grateful to our Lord God for His abiding love to all of us members of the Church Of Christ. He continues to utilize the Church Administration to oversee the spiritual welfare not only the adult members but also the young ones,” said Mia Hamel Calipay, a CWS officer from Malabon Congregation. “I promise to be of help to the Church Administration in imparting true Christian values to the children.”

Lovely Ann Manalaysay, from the same congregation, stated, “The lesson taught to us now is very timely especially that the world today continues deteriorating, with morals of people regressing and their values declining. As a CWS officer, I will continue genuinely loving and caring for the children entrusted to my care. I will constantly remind them God’s words that they should follow, for them not to be influenced by world’s wicked ways.” — With reports from INC News Section
