Having coordinated with the local government ahead of time, Brother Raul Alvarez, the district supervising minister, led a delegation of brethren for the said humanitarian activity.
Prior to the actual giving of the relief packages for the residents, a video presentation featuring the Church Of Christ’s Aid to Humanity activities from previous years and during the pandemic, and the members’ conviction despite everything they have been through was shown. The distribution of relief packages followed soon after the presentation ended.
One of the residents, Annalita Alimunsurin, said, “I thank the Iglesia Ni Cristo for such a kind assistance. This will greatly help us. May the Church continue to thrive in such benevolent works, helping more people, like us in this island.” — With reports from INC News Section
