Cupang Congregation ushers new, would-be members to a welcome treat

The ‘Welcome, My Brethren’ activity that the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Cupang, Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga East, in the Philippines, held at Tita’s Place Farm and Resort, Arayat, Pampanga on September 24, 2023 proved to be a welcome treat for the newly baptized and prospective members of the Church.

Brother Wilfredo Fajardo Jr., resident ministerial worker, led the said activity with the assistance from the congregation’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers.

“Through this activity, everyone has become closer to each other, feeling that sense of belongingness in the Church, and encouraging not only the brethren but also those who are in the process of joining to stay active in our services to the Lord God,” Brother Fajardo said.

Everyone in attendance enjoyed the performances of select brethren who sang their rendition of some of the INC original songs. Part of the program also was the viewing of “Paninindigan (Conviction)”—an INCTV program featuring some brethren’s stories of faith.

“I am so glad that I was able to attend this kind of activity. It has truly inspired and strengthened me in the faith. And I was also able to meet with my fellow brethren from our local congregation,” enthused Edwin Aydalla, a newly baptized member. — With assistance from Cupang Multimedia.
