With God’s mercy and help, the Dead Sea, Israel Group Worship Service (GWS), which is under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean, reached its first year. To mark the anniversary and to give glory and thanks to God, the brethren in the said GWS united their efforts in an evangelical mission on January 29, 2024. Through videoconferencing, the brethren’s guests were able to listen to God’s words preached at the host site, the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Jerusalem.

Brother Axl Rose Mesina, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, led the evangelistic activity. He preached a Bible-based lesson about why God expects people to be found active members of the true Church Of Christ.

“What caught my attention, while listening to the words of the Lord God, was about the Lord Jesus Christ being the Savior and the true Church that He will save,” said Dindo Sigara, a first-time guest. “The hospitality and camaraderie of Church members were felt, treating me like already their brother in the faith. I’m willing to continue attending Bible studies as I understood that the study of God’s words is vital,” Sigara added.

“It’s important for all of the members of the Church Of Christ to help in the work of propagation because it is a commandment of God; doing this glorifies Him,” Brother Mesina explained. “This is the reason many brethren keep inviting their friends and loved ones who are not yet members of the Church. We are all united with the Church Administration in this holy endeavor.” — With reports from Cleofe Ariola of INC News Section
