“We aimed at improving the skills and creativity of the children in the field of arts,” Lerny Ley Soriano, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officer, said.

Thus, she and fellow CWS officers led the Drawing & Gift Wrapping Tutorials, during which children from the Local Congregation of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, exhibited their creativity.

The said art and crafts activity was held at the function hall of their place of worship on May 7, 2023, and was supervised by Brother Mark Jayson Montes, resident minister.

CWS officers first demonstrated the basics of drawing to the children. With coloring pencils and papers the young brethren drew images they like. After the drawing activity, using boxes to resemble gifts, they also learned how to properly and creatively wrap gifts.

“It was fun joining this activity,” Thirdy Guevarra, CWS member, expressed. — With reports from Quiza Quiñola of INC News Section
