In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the organization for married members in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong held a Buklod special gathering on December 25, 2022. During the occasion, additional officers in the said Christian family organization also took their oath of office.
The holy gathering was officiated at by Brother Arnel Trinidad, district supervising minister, from the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Kowloon. Brethren from other local congregations gathered at their respective places of worship and connected via videoconferencing to the host site.
Through a Bible-based lesson, Brother Trinidad conveyed to the married couples God’s directive to parents in His chosen nation that they should actively lead their respective family in serving Him and in a life of holiness.
“This Buklod special gathering brought inspiration to us as most of us are far from our families because of our work. In Church activities, such as this, we were reminded to love our spouse and to strengthen our faith,” Monette Paras, Buklod president of the Local Congregation of New Territories, said. “We promise that we will lead our families in our continuous services to our Lord God.” — With reports from INC News Section
