The Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong held a special gathering on November 6, 2022, for the KADIWA and Binhi members in commemoration of both organizations’ 49th anniversary. Two venues were designated for the event: the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Kowloon as host site and that of Hong Kong West Congregation as the remote site.

Among the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), KADIWA and Binhi are both youth organizations. The Binhi has for its members youth 12 to 17 years old; while the KADIWA counts as members unmarried brethren 18 years old and above.

In his homily, Brother Jonathan Jove, district CFO overseer, exhorted the brethren that they should never let themselves be misled by the things and situations in this world which, more often than not, go against God’s teachings. That is why, he enjoined them to remain obedient to their parents’ well-thought-out advices. More importantly, he reminded them to keep trusting in God everything that they do.

“A bright future is what we all aspire for, which is why wholehearted trust in and obedience to God are a must, so He will bounteously give our heart’s desire,” said Daisy Calima, KADIWA, and choir member in the Local Congregation of Hong Kong West. — With reports from INC News Section
