Led by ministerial students, brethren from various local congregations in Cauayan City, Cabatuan, and Naguillan areas of the Ecclesiastical District of Isabela East, in the Philippines, united to hold an evangelical mission on July 4, 2023.

The administration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers (INC-SFM)-Cauayan City Extension took this opportunity as an avenue to train its students in propagation work. The school tasked the second-year ministerial students to lead the brethren in, among others, preparing for the activity.

The incoming third-year ministerial students also supervised the brethren in inviting would-be guests for the propagation activity, and they took charge in preparing the venue, the Cauayan City Congregation’s house of worship.

INC-SFM Cauayan City Extension coordinator Brother Ricky Capariño officiated at the evangelical mission. During study of God’s words recorded in Bible, he pointed out the value of being in the true Church Of Christ in order to be saved.

“I’ve always wanted to go inside an Iglesia Ni Cristo chapel,” a guest, Kate Crizel Barreto, said in an interview after the event. “So when I went inside the chapel, my first observation was its cleanliness and how everything is so organized. It seems that the chapel has been really taken care of.” — With reports from Joy Bumatay of INC News Section
