The joint KADIWA and Binhi Forum hosted by Church officers from the Local Congregation of Kabankalan City, Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, in the Philippines, promoted awareness on the pros and cons and proper use of social media.

Held at the said congregation’s house of worship on August 20, 2023, the said forum was led by Brother Edmund Montero, resident minister. The KADIWA and Binhi members watched a video presentation that was prepared by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Office. It reminded the youth that they are Christians all the time even online, that is, they should uphold a righteous way of life even in cyberspace.

“This activity reminds us to use responsibly any social media platform, especially now that there are so-called social media influencers who promote principles that, more often than not, go against the will of God,” said John Kenneth Osorio, a choir member.

“We are grateful to the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for constantly reminding and guiding the youth members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) through activities like this,” said Charmaine Reeze Arita, also a choir member. — With reports from July Ann Lardera of INC News Section
