The humanitarian activity was held for the benefit of the Philippine Orthopedic Center, which is located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
“We express our sincerest thanks to our Lord God, for [the success of] this activity, which we believe is so important in order for us to help our fellowmen,” said Brother Reynaldo Rivera Jr., resident minister of the Paco Local Congregation. The conference room of the congregation’s house of worship served as the venue for the activity.
A ministerial worker, Brother Israel Philippe Diaz, who was among the blood donors, said he was glad to participate in the said charitable event approved by the Church Administration. “I am happy to be of help to those who are in need and, most of all, which is I firmly believe is pleasing to the Lord God,” he said.
