Marinduque brethren show concern to fellowmen, donate blood

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Marinduque, in fulfillment of God’s teaching to love their fellowmen, delightedly participated in the blood donation activity held at Brgy. San Miguel Arena, Boac, in the province of Marinduque, Philippines on November 24, 2023.
The Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) leadership in the district organized the activity under the supervision of Brother Ronaldo Bacani, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer.
The donors underwent screening before donating blood to ensure they were physically fit to donate blood. After such health screening process, more than 80 bags of blood were collected, of which the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, also located in the province, was the recipient.
“We express our heartfelt gratitude to our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo Manalo, for the approval of this activity, which we hope to be of help to our fellowmen, in order to meet their medical needs,” said Brother Bacani.
“An activity like this not only shows my love to fellowmen but also my obedience to God’s command. I will carry on this campaign of the Church Administration, which is to help those who are in need, for the glory of God,” said Brother Louie Pineda, ministerial worker assigned in the Local Congregation of Gasan, who was among the donors.— With reports from INC News Section
