Two baptisms that the Ecclesiastical District of Masbate, in the Philippines, simultaneously held at the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of EGM and Placer on September 30, 2023 resulted to having more converts in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Brother Nepthalie Panes, district supervising minister, officiated at the former venue while Brother Ramon Dollesin, assistant district supervising minister, led at the latter.

The supervising ministers expounded to the baptismal candidates the Bible-based lesson specifying the duties of those God called into the true Church that have great relevance towards their receiving of salvation.

The candidates then took their oath of membership, after which they were immersed into the water and thus received baptism.

‘I’m elated after being baptized in the Church Of Christ because I firmly believe that I now truly received the Holy Spirit,” Richard Ayos, newly-baptized member from the Local Congregation of Malinta, expressed. “Although there were many trials that I faced, such as our home is far from the house of worship, but I was able to surmount all those through God’s help.” — With assistance from Masbate District Multimedia
