Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from its three districts in the Philippine province of Negros Occidental united with their district’s leadership in showing their love and care to their fellow Negrenses through the Church’s outreach program held in separate venues.

The ecclesiastical districts of Bacolod City, Kabankalan City, and Valladolid held Care for Humanity events on the same day, October 31, 2023, providing care packages to the beneficiaries.

The Bacolod City District conducted the humanitarian event at the Murcia Sports and Cultural Center in Murcia; the Kabankalan City District at the compound each of the Bantayan Congregation and Sipalay City’s houses of worship; and the Valladolid District at the San Enrique Gymnasium, in Valladolid town.

The supervising ministers of each district led the said events that benefited thousands of Negrenses, who received care packages containing food essentials.

One of the recipients named Jerry Chavez, a resident of Calandog, Murcia, said, “I am thankful to the Church Of Christ for such assistance to our daily needs. May you continuously be of help to our fellowmen, especially those who are in dire needs.”

“Thanks to the Church Of Christ for supporting my needs,” expressed another beneficiary named Kimberly Guzon. “The care packages I received has helped ease my worries about how can I be able to provide for my basic necessities these next few days.” — With reports from INC News Section
