New extension rises in Canantong, Nueva Ecija

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) membership in Canantong, a barangay (village) in Laur, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, keeps increasing. With God’s grace, an extension named after the said village was recently established, the inaugural worship service of which was held on August 23, 2023.
Brother Luisito Rivera, district supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Palayan City, Nueva Ecija, officiated at the inaugural worship service of the Canantong Extension.
“I thank God, and the Church Administration, especially Brother Eduardo Manalo, for approving a place of worship in our village,” said Shirley Palara, an active Church member.
“The brethren in Canantong no longer need to travel that far and fare a lot just to reach the town to attend the worship service there with the Local Congregation of Marcos Village. Now they have a house of worship of their own,” said Brother Rivera. “All praises be to the Lord God.” — With reports from Billie Jean Soriao of INC News Section
