“I am thankful to those who invited me to join the Church Of Christ. It is my conviction that I will fulfill my oath that I will remain active in my membership, and that I will obey all of God’s commands.” Thus said Alicia Romero, a newly baptized member from the Local Congregation of Macau.

The latest baptism in the Ecclesiastical District of Macau was held on October 22, 2023 at the place of worship of Macau Congregation.

The baptismal service was led by Brother Raul De Leon, district edification overseer. In his Bible-based homily, he stressed the importance of being baptized into the true Church. He also emphasized that those who receive true baptism must remain obedient to God’s commands until the end.

“I’m happy because our Lord God helped and guided me to encourage people to listen to His words, and join the Church Of Christ,” stated Eduardo Villarta, choir member and finance officer from the same congregation who was able to convert Romero into the Church. “I will continue to invite people in evangelical missions, promote the Church’s religious programs, and distribute pamphlets and copies of Pasugo: God’s Message magazine, so I can continue to give glory to God.”

Upon being baptized, Maydee Flores, also one of the newly baptized members from Macau Congregation, promised, “I will never neglect my worship services for it is my primary duty as a member of the Church.” — With reports from Karen Faith Simpleo of INC News Section
