A total of 1,576 residents of Bulalacao, a municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines, benefited from the Care for Humanity event held by the Ecclesiastical District of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro on October 17, 2023, at the Rizal Poblacion Covered Court.

Brother Rodel DG. Mañebog, the district supervising minister, oversaw the conduct of this humanitarian event, that came with a medical and dental mission, conducted by the members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in the district.

“The situation of our fellowmen here in Bulalacao is indeed modest, as many of them are farmers and fishermen,” attested Brother Israel Falcon, the resident ministerial worker of the Local Congregation of Bulalacao. “Some people here need not only the basic necessities but also medical assistance,” he added.

A recipient of the care packages named Dolores Perez said, “I’m grateful to the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). What they did is a significant help for us.” — With reports from Jefferson Dayo and Mira Joy Narito of INC News Section
