With joyful thanks and praises to the Lord God, members of the Local Congregation of Casambalangan, Ecclesiastical District of Cagayan East witnessed the rededication of their house of worship on January 27, 2023 following its major renovation.

“Together with other brethren, my heart is filled with joy because after 32 years since it was dedicated to the Lord, our house of worship underwent major renovation,” shared Cedie Gallien, one of the congregation’s head deacons.

The Casambalangan brethren were led by Brother Mauro Balintag, district supervising minister, during the special worship for the dedication to God of their 180-seater house of prayer.

Brother Julito Ortiz, assistant district supervising minister, expressed optimism that the brethren were greatly inspired by their beautified house of worship, along with the words of God they received, to all the more be dedicated to worship Him. He said, “Our hope and faith in God were edified as we felt the Holy Spirit in the midst of our gathering. Here, in this house of worship, the brethren can continue worshiping and praying to God.”

“During worship services, I say my pleadings to God. Fortunately, His spiritual and material blessings in store for His true servants are evident afterwards,” said Novy Atanaya, choir leader.

“We thank God so much for granting our prayers, blessing us with a beautiful house of worship,” Brother Elgin Almuete, resident ministerial worker, said on behalf of the congregation.

Located in Brgy. Casambalangan, Sta. Ana, Cagayan, Philippines, the newly renovated house of worship was equipped with, among other essentials, a Johannus Organ, a videoconferencing system, and sound system. — With reports from INC News Section
