Rosales, Pangasinan SCAN take first responder refresher course

Officers of the Society of Communicators and Networking International (SCAN) in the Ecclesiastical District of Rosales, Pangasinan, in the Philippines, attended a first responder refresher course on September 23, 2023 to hone their life-saving skills.
Spearheaded by the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers, SCAN members from various local congregations gathered at the Sta. Maria Gymnasium, Rosales.
“What was taught this time was about giving first aid and the proper knowledge in Basic Life Support (BLS), including the right execution of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which is vital in rescuing victims of sudden cardiac arrest,” said Krystal Mae Rabang, a CMDPS officer. “This knowledge can also be used to help people in need especially during calamities.”
