The newly established Ecclesiastical District of Saskatchewan, Canada held its first baptism on October 30, 2023 at the Saskatoon Congregation’s house of worship.

Brother Ramil Macaspac, district supervising minister, officiated at the said gathering. Through his Bible-based homily, he expounded the importance of receiving baptism in the true Church, and remaining in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for the attainment of salvation.

“This baptism is historical for it was the first baptism held in the newly established District of Saskatchewan, Canada,” stated Brother Macaspac. “We can truly feel the eagerness of the brethren as they attended the special gathering.”

“This is the best birthday gift that I received from the Father,” shared Neneth Taladtad, one of the newly baptized members. “The Church Of Christ is the true Church. I could say I’ve done many things for my family but what I hope for them now is to also be called into this Church for them to also secure their attainment of salvation.”

“As stated in the Holy Scriptures, the gospel should be preached to all people in the world so that many more may also be saved,” said Brother Felmar Saren, the assistant district supervising minister. “The brethren are positive when it comes to the work of propagation, among other Church endeavors, that give glory to our Lord God.” — With reports from Eric Creo of INC News Section
