The recent Songs of Faith, Love, and Hope (SOFLAH) of the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean brought out talented members of the KADIWA organization. The singing competition was held on September 3, 2022 with the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Haifa, Israel as the host site.

Out of 15 contestants, Isralyn Castro, from Haifa, Israel Congregation, won. Alvin Jay Orgen (Buggiba, Malta Group Worship Service), Reneros Gambong (Istanbul, Turkey Congregation), and Cherry Castro (Paralimni, Cyprus Congregation) were the 1st runner up, 2nd runner up, and 3rd runner up, respectively.

Prior to the activity, each of the contestants recorded their presentations. These were then shown on the day of the activity via videoconferencing. Brethren, among whom were the judges, as well as guests watched the performances of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music from their homes.

“The ‘KADIWA Songs of Faith, Love, and Hope’ aims to strengthen the faith of the brethren and to share our faith to our loved ones and friends. It is a chance to present INC original music as the brethren get together,” Judith Imus, district KADIWA president, said.
