Special gathering in Cebu City edifies finance officers

“We are thankful to the Church Administration for being instrumental in always relaying to us God’s words, which help us remain faithful to Him,” said Charina Bajao, finance officer and a deaconess from the Local Congregation of Lamac.

Brother Dueñas also reminded the attendees that being Church officers entails being active not only in fulfilling their respective Church duties but also in all other endeavors of the Church.

“We really need gatherings, such as this, that inspire us officers to remain upholding integrity as we perform our duties,” said Joy Villacorta, a finance officer from the Local Congregation of Nivel Hills. “I’ve been uplifted in the faith, ever hopeful and thankful to the Lord God.”

Aside from God’s will written in the Bible, the finance officers were also refreshed and updated of the Church regulations concerning the performance of their duties. — With reports from John Rey Bercero of INC News Section
